The Rincon de la Vieja Volcano National Park is located in the north west area of Costa Rica in Guanacaste Province.
This is an area of rugged natural beauty and high volcanic activity. The Volcano rises to over 6000 feet, and its activity is spread out along its flanks in the form of vents, fumeroles and geyers.
This is a fantastic place for a days exploration either on foot or on horseback. Enjoy the scenery, the natural springs, mud baths and outstanding bird watching opportunities.
This is a full days tour.
Pick up at 8am approx,
Drop off at 6 – 8pm approx*
*Travel time varies depending on the hotel’s location in relation to Rincón de la Vieja. **Hiking to top of the volcano is a full days activity. This would normally require a full day to comlete. Because hiking is a full days’s activity (subject to experience and difficulty) this would require a second day to complete this activity.
